Overwhelming Nights

Cece sat in the sand with Isa and Spencer playing with their hair gently while watching over her sons as they played. Now that everything had been built and the other islanders were sent off, everything had become more silent. No one had had the mouths to raise their voices when the emptiness among them lurked.
"James." She called to him.

Jay wondered through the giant hut and exhaled. Without his family there was no need for them to have this much space. He made his way up on a ladder and hopped into what would've been there room. Shaking his head he climbed down and walked off to the forest and climbed as high as he could. "Dawn!" He shouted listening to the echo of his voice and hoping for a response.

Mason stood up with his hands on the wall and tilted his head listening to different sounds. His hearing had been slightly more powerful recently making him turn his head and stare in awe.

Mason kissed her passionately slowly going with the flow.

Spencer opened her mouth a bit to deepen the kiss.

Mason slowly ran a hand down her back to get an idea of her and relaxed.

Spencer pulled away for a moment to breathe.

Mason pulled away and panted lightly. "What was that? Why did we do it?"

Spencer blinked. "I'm not really sure. It's a kiss...it's just how we show affection."

"Oh...Do you like it?" Mason wondered with a grin.

"Do you?" Spencer chuckled.

"Yeah I mean my mom gave me affectionate like that but on the cheek not the lips." Mason slowly got up and offered her his hand.

Spencer took his hand with a grin.

Mason slowly began to guide her to her hut. "Do you want to go home?"

"No." Spencer shook her head.

"Why not?" Mason said gently.

"It's boring." Spencer frowned.

Mason shrugged. "It's time to sleep." He said. "I'm tired. Sleeping in the sand wasn't much comfortable."

"You can go ahead and sleep." Spencer nodded and dropped his hand. "I'm going to go for a walk."

"If you go to sleep now I'll show you something in the morning."  Mason bribed casually.

Spencer raised a brow. "Fine." She huffed and kissed his cheek before walking into her hut, collapsing on her bed and falling asleep.

Mason lowered his head to hide his grin as she kissed his cheek and went off to his bed in his hut.

Isa crawled into her sisters bed. "Spence are you doing it with Mas?" She whispered.

Spencer shoved her sister away. "No Isa, I'm not doing that with anyone." She said. "I'm trying to sleep."

"Mom's been wondering why you been hanging out with him." Isa warned and got back into her own bed.

"Because he is my friend." Spencer muttered before falling asleep.

Mason awoke early and walked over to his mother giving her a hug and kiss on the cheek like he did every morning.

Ashlee returned the hug and kiss gently. "Good morning."

"Morning mom." Mason said and quickly went outside to walk over to the water and toss some sea shells further out in the water.
