"You just assumed that I was going to cheat because I can't hold my alcohol? Have some faith in me! For all you know, I could have just had one drink and not even get tispy from it." Hallie snapped and tightened her fists.

Emmett wrapped his arms around his pillow and buried his face it before falling asleep again.

Hallie began to slide down to the floor with the bottle in her hand. Tilting her head back, she stared at the ceiling. "What is life.."

Emmett continued to sleep peacefully in his bed.

Hallie closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, curling up in the middle of the floor.

Emmett opened his eyes an hour later to find Hallie still absent and grumbled before walking downstairs to pull her up into his arms then brought her back upstairs into their bed and nuzzled into her like a child.

Hallie groaned and wrapped a leg around Emmett. He was so warm that Hallie found herself climbing on top of Emmett and snuggling into his chest.

Emmett remained asleep next to her comfortably. He awoke in the morning and kissed her forehead.

Hallie woke up with a headache and pushed away from Emmett. "Don't touch me, okay? Okay thanks," She mumbled and got out of bed. Gripping her hair, she went to the bathroom and splashed water into her face.

Emmett watched her get up and walk away and remained on his back breathing quietly.

"What the hell was I even doing last night?" She questioned herself and then looked back to Emmett. It probably involved him pissing her off and then she had enough and just drank. "I'm never drinking again."

Emmett walked over to Hallie after a moment and put his hands on her waist, and his chin on her shoulder.

Hallie flinched as she felt Emmett touch her. It wasn't like she was scared of being around him, she was just afraid to be touched by him at all.

Emmett didn't pay mind to her flinch and only shut his eyes and nuzzled further into her neck affectionately.

Hallie stood there and looked at the ground below her before grabbing Emmett's hands. She pulled them down and away from her. "Please stop..Can't you see that I'm upset?"

Emmett grew annoyed and walked away from her and out to his car.

Hallie crossed and arm over her stomach and frowned. She went back to her room and laid in bed, waiting for Emmett to come back. It's not like she forgave him from yesterday, but she was still going to wait for an apology. Sighing, she sat up and turned on the T.V., flipping through the channels for something good to be on. Hopefully things would be better by tomorrow or the day after that, though there were her doubts. Sometimes she wished that Emmett wasn't as stubborn or had so many anger problems because then he took some of it out on her.

Emmett returned after an hour and stormed up to his room to ignore Hallie. Hell if she didn't want talk to him that was on her.

Hallie crossed her legs and watched as Emmett came back into their room. He had been gone for an hour or more. Biting the inside of her mouth, she began to twiddled her fingers on what to say to him.

Emmett threw his pillow over his head and shut his eyes.

Sometimes you had to be the bigger person and that was exactly what Hallie was going to do. She laid her head down on Emmett's back and sighed. "I'm sorry for making you upset."

Emmett glanced over at her and narrowed his eyes a bit.

"I'm serious Emmett," Hallie mumbled and straddled his back. She began to tap on him till she had his full attention.

Emmett sighed and looked up at her. "What?"

"I apologized and now it's your turn," Hallie demanded and crossed her arms.

Emmett only grew aggravated and pushed her off.
