Light The Hours

Alice sat on the couch with her legs spread while on her side holding an Xbox controller. Her gaze was fixed on her game intensely. She wore a tank top that showed her belly button in which was obviously pierced and plaid pink pajama pants. Beside her, her iphone was playing music. It had been a while since she had sat down to play since she was always on her tippy toes with her two year olds Jordan and Finley. She had to give it to herself, for a single mother she had done pretty well and keeping in shape was probably her best asset as of now. She glanced over into the play pen she had stuck them in with toys and exhaled in relief to see them entertained. "Who would've thought?" She grumbled.

Jordan hugged and suddenly pressed her lips to his after removing her hand.

Chase blinked in surprise. Why did she just do that? He felt his stomach flip as he returned the kiss.

Jordan pulled away after a moment and walked out to go to the bathroom.

Chase only sat up staring at her in awe.

Jordan came back moments later and laid down to go back to sleep, glad she finally got him quiet.

Chase quickly fell asleep against her.

Alice awoke the next morning and yawned stretching, pushing Jackson off in the process.

Jordan woke up to the thud and sat up.

Jackson groaned as he hit the ground, though he had taken the pillow with him.

Chase awoke to the thud quickly as well and looked at Jordan curiously. "What was that?"

Alice looked down at him with a smirk sticking her tongue out. "Hah."

Jackson curled up on the floor and flipped her off, closing his eyes.

"I have no idea." Jordan shrugged.

Chase walked over to Alice's room curiously and peeked in only to find the principal on the floor and swallowed.

Alice leaned over the side of the bed and ran a hand through his hair.

Jackson pulled her down and hugged her.

Alice grinned down at him and hugged him back.

"The principal is with your mom." Chase whispered to Jordan after retreating.

"Told you!" Jordan sneered.

Jackson yawned and looked around the room. "So, what's for breakfast?"

"Told me what they aren't doing anything bad." Chase shrugged.

"Ugh why don't you cook for a change huh?" Alice grumbled.

"But I like your cooking." Jackson grinned.

"That's what you think." Jordan huffed.

"How would you know anyway?" Chase retorted. "You wouldn't even know the half of it."

"So?" Alice huffed. "You act like you can't cook."

"Probably because I can't." Jackson snickered at her.

Jordan stuck her tongue out at him and pushed him away.
