Alex laid back on his seat on the beach. He had only a piece of cloth on covering his private though everyone for the most part had. They had had to have found a way to live as modern day cities had collapsed after a great famine and anarchy came upon. For those who had evacuated they had not lived long, shot down by the army. He had gotten away with a group of friends before it all. Having their expenses paid by their parent's. He was only sixteen at the time however the eighteen year old had quickly become a tyrant during this peak of devastation. When other vacationers sought to rise above himself he had slit their necks only allowing those who were of peace, and friendship within his own mind to live on. Despite the anger he had received for doing such thing he was doing it to protect himself, and most of all his friend's and his own families.

"I'm not telling you." Jacki frowned, she want even sure who this guy was.

Anthony frowned. "Okay, speak to the doctor." He murmured and gestured for one of the nurses to return with a doctor as he stepped out of the room.

Jacki grumbled as she was poked and prodded and questioned thoroughly.

Anthony watched and waited while looking her over.

Jacki glared over at the boy, wondering why he was still hanging around.

Anthony made his way back over to Jacki and rolled his eyes. "Alright the doctors themselves explained everything to you either you're in denial or you're just choosing not to listen."

Jacki shook her head. "Why would I want to listen to you guys tell me I lost my memory and now I sound crazy?"

Anthony shrugged and began to walk away. "Whatever forget about it. I didn't tell you a thing." He glanced over his shoulder. "Oh, check the calander." He mutters while walking out.

Jacki shook her head and covered her head with her blanket and curled up as much as possible with the pain.

Alex got up and began to walk out the hospital after a little while and put his hand over his face. "Oh man what did I do."

Jacki continued to lay curled up in her bed and began to cry. What was she supposed to do now, where was she supposed to go?

Alex glanced over at his brother and shook his head. "She fine?"

Anthony scoffed. "Only as fine as you made her out to be."

Jacki sobbed into her pillow and squeezed her eyes shut. Maybe it was just a dream and she'd wake up soon?

Alex crossed his arms and walked over to Anthonys cars and grabbed some clothes to put on.

"What do you plan on doing?" Anthony asked.

Jacki finally wiped away her tears, where was she supposed to go from here? Sitting up she winced and rubbed her head gently. She could feel the stitches just below her hairline, off towards the left side of her head.

"You said it yourself im nothing but a nuisance sticking around here. Why should I stay?" Alex asked and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I know what I'm doing."

Anthony scoffed but shrugged. "The military can only do so much for you. Sometimes it's what's in your head."

Jacki stumbled out of the hospital after signing her release papers against the doctors wishes. Rubbing her eyes she glanced at the paper they had given her with her home address on it. Sighing she began to walk towards the direction they had pointed her.

Alex glanced in Jacki's direction.

"Giving up?" Anthony wondered. His spirit was gone.

Jacki could feel the boy looking at her but shook it off, she had no time to be wondering who he was or what he wanted. Tugging on her hair she continued to walk on quietly, wondering what her home even looked like.

"Making up for mistakes." Alex darted over to Jacki and pulled her into him. "I'm sorry, what I fid was a stupid idea and I don't - I didn't think - I mean I thought we were invincible in a way and now I can't even look at you without feeling like I ruined everything. I'm so sorry." He told her quietly.

Anthony watched before disappearing and reappearing within his own home on the couch.

The jack I was taken by surprise as the stranger embraced her and yelped a bit. "Let me go!" She demanded and wiggled in his grasp.

"You know what? No. I'm not because you need to understand that you can't live in this crazy world of the past." Alex responded sharply and pulled out his phone and flashed the date to her. "What's the date here? You think everyone is lying to you?"

"The date still doesn't tell me who you are!" Jack I snapped and shoved him away, what was with this guy?

"It's complicated." Alex responded taking a step back. "It's- I don't know." He exhaled.

Jacks huffed and spun around to continue to walk home, she want in the mood to be messed with right now. Everything was too confusing.
