Atticus sat on the couch smoking his joint and opened his eyes to a kiss on the forehead by Alice. She had been his wife for at least a month now. He enjoyed her company and intimacy it rarely let him alone with his thoughts. He couldn't help worry about where Mel was and what she was doing. Probably the same thing she was doing before. At least he had settled down. Kind of. She didn't know it but he still went out for a few late night hook ups when she was least aware. It was fine if no one was getting hurt.

"Heading out." Alice told him then walked back to her sister's apartment and slowly opened the door. She hadn't seen her in two months and wasn't sure exactly what she would find. She winced when she noticed the mess and her sister. She looked as if...could she be? Shooting up? "Juliet."

Diego sat down beside her and shook his head. "Fucking ridiculous." He shut his eyes and dozed off till they arrived. Once he got off the plane, he walked over to to the taxi waiting for them and got in with Atticus and Ciel.

Atticus looked at them. "What am I going to do? Move on?"

"Yeah." Ciel said as if it were obvious. "She doesn't want you back, get over it."

"Thanks." Atticus responded. "Like Aristos." He grunted.

Ciel shot a glare at Atticus. "Don't you ever talk about him. EVER." She snapped.

Diego looked over at the arguing two wondering what was going on. They had been fine only a minute ago.

"Why? What'd he ever do to you?" Atticus asked sharply oblivious to what had happened.

"Just shut your face." Ciel hissed, ready to throw a punch.

"It's a question! It isn't fair if you're doing to him what Ciel is doing to me. We make mistakes." Atticus snapped.

"That kind of thing isn't a mistake. Unless you had a fucking gun pointed to your head you had a choice. You knew what you were doing. You knew it would hurt her. You chose to hurt her. You don't get to play the victim." Ciel snapped.

"I'm not playing the victim but you would think eight years later it'd be a different story! Eight years of waiting around! Begging for forgiveness!" Atticus winced. "You have no idea what it feels like."

"You're right. I don't. Because I've never hurt someone that deeply." Ciel huffed.

"Besides Aristos." Atticus said again.

"Dude... Atticus..." Diego said quietly.

Ciel balled up her fist and slammed it against his face. "Don't say that name!" She shouted loudly.

Atticus rubbed his jaw and glared at her.

Ciel shook her head and stared out the window.

Diego got into the hotel and grabbed his room key then walked in with Ciel. "You okay?"

"I'm fine." Ciel muttered.

"Seriously though, whatever did happen with that guy Aristos?" Diego asked. "You never told anyone why you hated him."

"I don't want to talk about it ok?" Ciel mumbled irritably.

Diego fell silent and rubbed the back of his neck.

Ciel at on the edge of the bed and sighed. "Now what?"
