Filling The Emptiness

Becoming elderly had to had have been one of Chase's worst nightmares but it wasn't as bad with his wife securely by his side at all times. He couldn't have asked for a better lifetime with Jordan. He had gotten to see even his greatest grand kids. Awakening from his slumber he achingly threw his legs off the bed just as the sun rose and took little steps downstairs to make himself, and Jordan some coffee after brushing his teeth and washing himself in the bathroom. For being almost ninety-four years old he still found himself remotely active.
He slowly made his way up the stairs again and put the coffee on Jordan's night stand then kissed her cheek like he did every morning. "Do you want to sit by the beach today?" He asked a bit enthusiastically. "I don't mind driving today, I feel great." He told said and sat on the bed beside her to hold her hand.

"Okay, yeah you do that." Aristos said awkwardly and walked away finding her actions weird.

Ciel stopped screaming and gave a sigh of relief, finally having some time to herself as she closed her eyes.

Aristos walked over to Diego. "Hi?"

"You're a creep." Diego responded hoarsely.

"I think they have enough problems as it is," Alisha said and shrugged. "Putting them in a new area would probably make it worse."

"Just in a different time zone." Ciara persisted. "Besides who doesn't enjoy the British Empire?"

"Everyone." Liam mentioned bluntly.

Alisha sighed and sat up and brushed the grass off her back. "Maybe you should find a new hobby," She suggested.

"Any suggestions ma?" Ciara asked with a huff.

"Sybcronized swimming," Alisha suggested and chuckled. "Maybe get Diamond to do it with you."

"Sounds boring." Ciara grumbled and laid on her belly. "Why don't you just go back so I can be reborn? You're not even doing anything special here."

Koda appeared looking around a bit surprised. "What the hell?"

"Since Anthony is lead angel there is no Tyler. No Tyler means no me," Alisha said and shrugged.

"Tyler is very much alive." Anthony appeared and pat Ali's back. "In fact he is the only one of us who never died." He grinned.

"Im confused." Ciara mumbled.

"So he's immortal?" Alisha asked curiously and raised her brow.

Anthony nodded. "Yes he is. But of course, never sexual." He answered.

Alisha shrugged at his words, then fell back in the grass. "Well Ciara, hope your father doesn't get reincarnated, because half your features won't be from me."

"Perhaps I can persuade Tyler." Anthony suggested to is grandchild.

"See mom? You can go back." Ciara grinned.

Alisha shrugged again and crossed her arms. "If that will make you happy."

"It will if you don't forget to have me. And stupid Hunter." Ciara answered.

Anthony disappeared off to do his job.

"I guess that's my call." Liam said and leaned over to kiss Alisha gently as he faded off. "Be good Ciara."

Alisha returned the kiss affectionately and sighed. She pulled away and watched him disappear with a scowl.

Ciara watched him go then hugged her mother. "Don't worry, you guys will get together again I know it."

Alisha wrapped her arm around Ciara's shoulders and nodded, "Hopefully."

Anthony appeared and pointed to Alisha. "Your turn." He grunted before disappearing.

Ciara frowned as her mother began to disappear. "Don't forget me." She begged.

"Don't sound so excited, Anthony," Alisha mused and grinned. She then turned back to Ciara and pulled her into an embrace and kissed her forehead gently. "I won't," she promised.
